August 29

* Group air transportation is included on this tour. Travelers departing from IOWA, MINNESOTA, or INDIANA can take advantage of a transfer to our ‘gathering overnight’ at a Chicagoland hotel. All remaining travelers will join the group on August 30 from one of our designated Illinois departure locations.
* For those spending the night at the Chicagoland hotel, get acquainted with fellow travelers and your tour manager, and enjoy a complimentary breakfast the next morning.

August 30

* Take in the views en route to our home for the next five nights, the Margaritaville Resort, refreshed with $30 million in renovations, and welcome the shores of Cape Cod.
* After a day of travel, we’ll gather together for dinner.

August 31

* Travel along the scenic Old King’s Highway with our local guide to the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center and take in dramatic seashore landscapes.
* Wander Provincetown, a distinctive artist and fishermen village, for lunch and to explore local shops and galleries.
* YOU CHOOSE: A whale watching excursion with an onboard naturalist or a guided sand dune excursion at Cape Cod National Seashore.
* Prior to a restful night, we’ll come together for dinner.

September 1

* We’ll start our day boarding a ferry to stunning and historic Nantucket, proclaimed as the whaling capital of the world from 1690 to the 1800s.
* We’ll view the Island’s sites while learning about its past and present on our included Nantucket Island Tour.
* Enjoy time on your own for lunching, shopping, and exploring. [Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.]
* Upon our return to the mainland, a lobster dinner awaits us. [Alternative choices, excluding shellfish, will be provided.]

September 2

* We start our day with a guided tour of Hyannis, including the John F. Kennedy Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Hyannis Port, and a view of St. Francis Xavier Church.
* Visit the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum to learn about our 35th President and his family’s Cape Cod connection.
* Discover Cape Cod’s history through interactive exhibits at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center.
* Next, we’ll pay a visit to "America’s Hometown" for shopping and lunch along Plymouth’s waterfront, with photo stops at the Forefathers Monument, Plymouth Rock, and the restored Mayflower II.
* Continuing on, we travel to the quaint seaside community of Sandwich - the oldest town on Cape Cod.
* At the historic Sandwich Glass Museum, we’ll be surrounded by beautiful art blown from molten glass.
* After a full day of touring, we join together for a buffet dinner at the Dan'l Webster Inn.

September 3

* Start the day at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
* Upon arrival by ferry, we’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour and learn about the lifestyles of Martha’s Vineyard Islanders.
* Enjoy lunch on your own, shopping, and exploring in Edgartown, a historic whaling town on Martha’s Vineyard.
* A unique must-see is Oak Bluffs and its "Cottage City" with brightly painted cottages and "gingerbread" trim.
* Share the day’s adventures over a group dinner.

September 4

* We depart Cape Cod and begin our journey home with a return flight to Chicago O'Hare.
* Upon disembarking from the plane at Chicago O’Hare, you will be greeted by your transfer driver for your return to your chosen departure location.
* You return home with wonderful memories and tales of your adventure to share with family and friends.
